這次MovISee結合成大地標－榕園，將大家熟悉的景物，藉由時空擾動機制，化身為榕樹的綠，晴空的藍，鳳凰花的火紅，在畫布上綿密生動展演著優良學府八十五載的活力與絢爛。

材質：100%澳洲長毛羊毛。
尺寸: 200 x 70 cm。

Inspired by the banyan trees at the heart of NCKU campus, we have transformed familiar scenes into new and abstract patterns with our in-house software, MovISee. The scarf design presents NCKU's main colours, by mixing banyan green, sky blue, and royal poinciana red. The layered colours produce a unique, classic and comforting design, celebrating the university's 85th anniversary.

設計概念
Design

MovISee是開放性的互動軟體, 可以將照片、影片等資訊，轉化成新圖案。MovISee 摒除一般使用的肢體大面積觸發，以細緻的肢體擺動為觸發。當參與者投入越多動作，MovISee會創造更多超乎預期的結果，開發使用者潛在創造力。MovISee除了可以設置成互動裝置，還將互動者產出的圖象，延伸到個人化產品開發。

MovISee is an open-ended interactive software with a depth camera. It enables users to create personal visual outputs from photographs and video clips, and through subtle physical movements posed by the user. As more movements and information are fed, more surprising visual outputs are created by MovISee. In short, it is a system of re-creating information and exploring personal creativity. The results reveal the sedimentary relative movements through filming. Time and space are deconstructed to the extent that meaning is shifted and interpretations become multifaceted. Multi-layered images are created in which the fragility and instability of our reality is questioned.

關於設計師
About Designer

卓彥廷博士，從英國皇家藝術學院獲得博士學位，從美國哈佛大學設計學院獲得碩士學位，台灣國立成功大學獲得建築學士學位。卓先生擅長跨領域的研究，研究項目包括建築，互動設計，還有動畫。其中動畫部分曾多次獲得國際間的獎項，並榮獲哈佛電影研究中心的獎學金。曾在美東的設計事務所實習，設計過微軟的互動桌，哈佛設計學院的互動資訊車，以及紐約古根漢美術館的互動裝置設計。作品亦曾在英國維多利亞與亞伯博物館展出。此外，他曾在英國皇家設計學院擔任客座講師。他喜歡媒體設計，讓使用者可以主動參與並創造出個人化的結果。他目前準備在成功大學創意產業研究所與科技藝術學程擔任助理教授，並於成大文創育成中心擔任顧問。

Dr. Yen-Ting Cho is a designer, artist and researcher with expertise in interdisciplinary digital design methods, including architecture, interaction design, and animation. He has a PhD in Innovation Design Engineering (IDE) from the Royal College of Art (RCA), London; and a Master's degree from the Graduate School of Design (GSD), Harvard University. He was awarded Film Study Center Harvard Fellowships for three years. His animation practice has received awards internationally. He has worked at INVIVIA (Cambridge, MA), and designed interactions for Microsoft Surface, GSD and the Guggenheim Museum, New York. He was a visiting tutor in IDE at the RCA where his doctoral research was on ‘Cubic Film: Interdisciplinary Development of a Digital Participatory Moving Image Medium'. Yen-Ting Cho leads his London-based digital design studio. Currently, Cho is an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Creative Industries Design and Master Program on Techno Art at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan and a consultant for the university's Culture and Creativity Incubation and R&D Center.

本次紀念品係繼水泥鉛筆（台語：緣筆）之後，專為85週年校慶設計之作品。材質為水泥，為基礎與永固、以大成館大柱為意象，承載期待為挺立之柱、棟樑之意涵，下部筆台是錐形台階，形成安定之底座，表現成大在學術界的基石與棟樑之角色與任務。 本次「立柱筆」由手工打造，成大工業設計系馬敏元教授與22design studio再度合作之作品，這經驗，除了以材質出發之產品設計與自我品牌建立外，對設計學子後輩亦提供學習典範與案例教材。

This design is developed for NCKU 85th anniversary. By using the material ofconcrete for the meaning of foundation and solid, and the Pillar as pen from Da-Cheng building for the meaning of Social Pillars, and a stable stand. It is to showthat NCKU plays the important role for Academic and National responsibility.Pillar Pen are all hand-made, and produced by the department of industrialdesign prof. Min-Yuan Ma and 22 design studio. This work is not only a productdesign and branding case, but also a good example for younger generation.

校友游聲堯與鄭伊婷，本著剛畢業22歲那年，做為其設計原點，創立了22 design studio。從水泥戒子、水泥筆、至精緻的鐘、錶，一次次的突破，透過作品反覆地表現出對他們設計初衷的堅持。其作品也陸續躍上世界各國知名設計雜誌，例如：The New York Times/ USA、Wallpaper/UK、NYA RUM/ Sweden、renovate/ New Zealand等，同時已在歐、美、亞洲，20多國以上之專櫃陳設販售。

素有蘭花仙子之稱的Phalaenopsis bellina，其花香精油富含單萜類物質,具有舒緩、穩定情緒的功用以成功大學蘭花研發中心開發之技術，活體萃取數千朵P. bellina花香精油，轉換成高雅的成蘭經典香水。

P. bellina has sweet scents with the function of soothing and balancing emotions. Its main components are monoterpenes.
With the biochemical technology from NCKU's Research Center of Orchid, the scent compounds were extracted from thousands of Phalaenopsis bellina flowers and create to form this Classic Orchid Eau de Parfum.

The brand “Cheng Lan”, meaning “achieving the beauty of orchids in NCKU”, represents the spirit of the Research Center of Orchid (RCO) at NCKU : the beauty of helping others for achievement.
With the research achievement of the orchid genomics and biotechnology in the past twenty years, the RCO has been developing valued-added orchid products for everyday usage. Orchids have been transformed from its solely ornamental value to various personal and household applications. The goal is to introduce orchids to the general public first in Taiwan and then to the world, so that the RCO's spirit can be solidified through the basis of orchid breeding and orchid research in Taiwan.
